This spring, four artists carrying the name Rose are each making a case for why you should be paying attention, from London club-influenced pop to fully independent singer-songwriters turning personal pain into anthems.

Rose Gray is a student of pop music who will one day be referenced as a teacher.

Her sound is a nod to pop legends like Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Robyn mixed with the electronic heart of London’s club scene.

“I feel like we’re in an exciting place for the crossovers of underground and pop,” Gray told Hollywood Rebound last year.

She described her debut album, Louder, Please, as having “brash and aggressive and industrial” elements joined by moments that are “delicate and honest.”

The deluxe version featured collaborations with Alex Chapman, JADE, Melanie C, Shygirl and others. The project took her around the world; she joined Kesha on tour before setting out on a headline tour of her own.

Gray shared at Spotify’s Best New Artist party in January that she’s making a new record: “There will be a new era, but I’m not departing from the Louder, Please world.”

Listen to her music the way it was meant to be played: loud.

Annika Rose

In the age of content, Annika Rose is making art.

“I actually want to stand for shit,” she says. “Behind every choice in what you’re visually seeing, there’s a much deeper message I’m trying to communicate,” she tells Hollywood Rebound.

Her typical uniform — a white button-down shirt with a black tie — is Rose confronting the oversexualization of women in the entertainment industry.

“If a fucking man can show up in the room with a suit and tie, so can I,” Annika says.

Her latest artistic project is a live rendition of her song “I’M GOOD. I’M GREAT.” Don’t let the faster tempo fool you. The song is the product of an experience that “wasn’t super positive.”

“It's been super validating to have other people gather around this shared experience in something, even if the circumstances were different amongst each person,” Annika says.

Madison Rose

Madison Rose’s uplifting music and powerful sound are a reminder to accept all parts of yourself.

The fully independent singer-songwriter has released two songs so far this year: “fairytale” and “SUPERPOWER.”

The latter is “an ode to my superpower: my bipolar 2 diagnosis,” Madison wrote on social media. “To anyone who’s had to alchemize a pain point in your life this is for you too,” she continued.

Madison has been candid on social media about the jobs she’s worked while being a pop star. She’s been a restaurant host, maître d', an electronics sales person and a store attendant, among other things.

“My art is more valid because of the multifaceted life I lead,” she said on social media.

Alessi Rose

Alessi Rose released her for your validation EP in early 2025, but six songs weren’t enough for the English singer-songwriter. She released another eight songs last summer as the Voyeur EP.

Rose released three additional songs on Voyeur (Deluxe), including “First Original Thought.” Rose co-wrote the song alongside Slatkin and Amy Allen, the latter of whom received the Grammy award for Songwriter of the Year in 2025.

Voyeur (Deluxe) stemmed from me continuing to write on tour after Voyeur was completed and craving some more big, melodramatic pop songs to perform at my shows, whilst also being in the headspace of wanting to write about things in their most raw and uncomfortable honest forms, in real time,” Alessi said in a press release.

As if she wasn’t busy enough, she opened for Dua Lipa on the “Radical Optimism” tour and for Tate McRae on the “Miss Possessive” tour — in addition to putting on her own headline shows.

A handful of European shows are planned for the summer.
