Rina Sawayama Shares Reissue of 'Hold the Girl'
Physical copies will be available on September 15.
To celebrate the one year anniversary of her sophomore album, Hold the Girl, Rina Sawayama is ordering a reissue.
The reissue will give the album a new look, with an updated album cover across streaming platforms and physical formats (CD and vinyl).
“I've always loved this image and feel it encapsulates the album and all of its themes (more on that later),” Rina wrote on Instagram.
The cover art has already been updated on steaming platforms. Physical copies will be available on September 15.
Rina is currently on the road, playing shows and festivals as part of her “Hold the Girl: Reloaded” tour. She heads to the United Kingdom later this month before returning to the United States.
That’s not all she’s been up to. In July, Rina graced the cover of British Vogue. She said it best: “Elevate your vision when you put me on the cover.” Plus, she made her feature film debut as Akira in John Wick: Chapter 4 earlier this year.
