Entertainment and business collided early this week when AMC Theatres announced a new way to price tickets.

The movie theater company announced "Sightline at AMC" — a new initiative that separates seat selection into three groups: Value Sightline, Standard Sightline and Preferred Sightline.

As AMC describes it: "Sightline at AMC provides moviegoers with seating selections based on their sightline of the movie screen within the auditorium ..."

That's to say, the price of your ticket depends on the location of your seat.

Actor Elijah Wood was quick to call out the new policy.

According to the press release, Sightline will come to every domestic AMC location by the end of the year.

Here's the full schedule of events.

PR maven Kelly Cutrone spoke with Interview magazine about the intricacies of NYFW.

A question that stands out: Who’s more important in 2023, the editors or the fashion influencers?

"The editors, because at least they’re interested in the topic that they’re writing about. A lot of the influencers are doing things in a super fly-by-night way, and there’s more to the fashion business than how many followers you have on Instagram."
